Did you know that talking with kids early about voting is one of the best ways to promote a lifetime of civic engagement? It’s also a great opportunity for them to learn about fairness and making decisions as a group! If you haven’t filled in your ballot yet, consider sitting down with your kids and talking about why voting matters and what values you have as a family that informs your decisions.
Once you’ve finished voting, make sure you get in the mail by Friday to ensure it’s on-time or use a ballot drop box (there’s one down at Magnuson Park!) until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2.
